Design for JCL
The purpose of these accessories is to decorate leather products or use them as functional parts for tote bags, brand shirts and bracelets. The symbolic meanings of the patterns come from various religions and cultural beliefs from Asia and North America.
All these two hardware designs have passed the Chinese authority department for authenticity and originality and credited the Appearance Design Patent Certificate in China, as this example picture is given below.

Flying Bird Reach Out Sea 飞鸟出海

The idea of this sterling silver hardware comes from an old Chinese Myth from the Book Shan Hai: Jing Wei Tian Hai. It was about a girl called Jingwei, who died because of the furious wave of the ocean. And when she died, her soul transformed into a bird, tirelessly carrying stones into the ocean, and determined to fill and level up the ocean.
As time passed, the story generally gathered an interpretation that the bird stands for the undead spirit of never giving up and the spirit of determination.
The design itself also integrated Native American Symbols of light and hope. The head of the bird could also be identified as the rising sun from the ocean, which means when you don't give up, there is always hope.
"Yun Lei" Patterned Leather Knife 云雷纹大刀

The surrounding pattern on the edge of the hardware outer circle is an extraordinary old symbolic decorating pattern that first appeared in ancient China, nearly 4000 years ago, in Shang Dynasty, which was believed to be the second dynasty in China's history.
This pattern, which combined with two natural elements, the clouds and thunder, is considered to be a holy pattern that represents the unspoken god of heaven in traditional Chinese belief. With the craftsmen's leather producing tool, the leather knife in the centre, the image emphasizes the strength and durability of our products, and the craftsmanship of JCL would guarantee the high-end quality of our goods.
