"Shan Shui"

for JCL Studio

"Shan Shui" means Mountain and Water in English, which has the implication of harmonic and suitable environment in Chinese culture. As a coaster, this cultural interpretation could be used as a good wish for luck and prosperity.

The coaster design is inspired by the traditional Chinese philosophy of I Ching（易经）, the image refers to a harmonious vision of the natural elements and the inner peace of human beings. The red lines stand for the symbolic divination of traditional Chinese mythology, which represents the presence of the earth and heaven.
